If you read this, please respond with a witty anecdote, memory of bgkf, memory of Dr. Love, filthy limerick, pensive thought, obnoxious question for a band member, or insensitive quip.
Say something though. If you read this, say something, don't let the community of ladies and men who are geographically separate but one through the internet web land die.
What about the time when El Coro and Nick Doyle ruled the boards, the land before time and Joe B? Have we really forgotten those times?
Next semester in college I am taking nothing but Language classes. What do you think of that!?! Three Englishes and one Spanish class.

I remember the time Dr. Love tried to talk to me and I couldn't understand it.
Seriously, I kinda miss that place.
And, the BGKF boys will be at Hella. You know how we do.

No hella for me (frowny face), i'm still stuck in Canuckland, I am really jealous though. Memories... court street offers many good'ns. Here are a few favs: man dancing in coveralls, bar guy spinnin' wheels in his truck, po-po layin down the law on underage drinkin, the most disgusting toilets in the land...

wow thanks fellers gee nice turn out so far. balexis - sounds nice but I bet you'll miss the homework joe - I miss that place (and I know you really mean "that man," which is what I also mean) too. beth - sadly I never made it to court street before it closed. luckily I was a able to drown my sorrows in dr. love for a while. here's how to make a frowny face: emily - is this some sort of insensitive quip to me? cause I really do like joanna newsom.

i like joanna newsom and final fantasy as well. what does that make me? final fantasy played a joanna newsom song when i saw him in nawlins. what a strange co-inky-dink.
i miss dr love's as well. i always felt like i was at some strange 1980's prom when i walked in. and i felt really cool be-bopping into such an exclusive joint. any other night of the week it was mexicans/latinos only...or yo ass was out da do'. dr love was always excruciatingly nice to me (well, from what i could decipher). he always gave me free water. the man has a heart of gold...to match his license plate cover.

At first I was like , which was very ,but now thanks to the amazing tutorial i am free to show all of my really cool emotions . Thank you so much . P.S. Just joshin , hope you aren't , I will just shut my big ole mouth . PS2. Balexis is graduatin? Where you headed off to now? Speakin of ole Dr. Green, I used to get really bizaar calls from him at odd hours of the night. I couldn't understand what he would say, but then he would just repeat his phone number 5 or 6 times and hang up. It may have had something to do with the band, but one can never be entirely sure.

My favorite memory of Dr. Love's is probably the Halloween show where we dressed up like girls, and Kyle quit his job that same day because they wouldn't let him go when they said he could. There's a picture somewhere of those costumes, and Kyle looks like a beat-up prostitite. It's golden.
My favorite Court St. memory is probably the last show we did there. Not only were there a lot of people, and we got paid like crazy, and there was an awesome green light from heaven shining on us, and we wore sort-of outfits (has anyone seen my Cock of the Walk t-shirt? It's lost...) , but it was the first time Joe played a full set with us. Also golden.
Non-Tupelo highlights include beer-cheese soup and fart threatening in Murfreesboro, awkward situations and/or frozen-ass basements in Memphis, and idling uselessly while the mad wind scattered the ashes of everything I once loved.
What?

i asked dr. love for a coke at one show. we had some sort of a conversation. i got a plastic cup of kinda dirty water in the end. that was the same night that there was a really bad smell in the entrance. it smelled like dirty water, armpit stank, and cheap cologne.
...at the last almost-show at dr. love's, there was a large dead rat outside the club. there were ants on it. i thought it was a fitting farewell to the place.

I'm just sitting here at reznor's palace and thinking to myself, 46 views! Surely there are few hardasses out there who are reading this thread and contributing to 46 views but not posting? I mean, I have looked at it quite a few times, and I realize that it could just be the same seven or eight folks looking at it, but come on, if you look at this thing you have to speak up or else head like a hole, losing control, bat out of hell, highway to hell!

I think mine would be when I Kris R and I showed up early and the doors were closed. A bunch of kids were around and I tried to open the doors a little more....assertively.
Next thing we know, the alarm is going off and the kids run like cockroaches at a bullfight and I decide its a good time to go to sonic for a cherry limeade.
good stuff.
